Throwing away our future
Numerous reports suggest over a third of the food produced in the world including Australia is actually wasted, discarded even though perfectly good for consumption. While this is unsustainable, the diversion of this rich organic material away from landfill provides a nutrient rich source of biomass for composting.
Returning this valuable resource back into agricultural land should be seen as essential.
